White Gold Corp. has launched its fully funded 2026 exploration program, marking the largest diamond drilling campaign in the company’s history across its district-scale land package in Yukon’s prolific White Gold District. With three drill rigs now operating simultaneously, the exploration program is focused on expanding resources at the company’s four known gold deposits—Golden Saddle, Arc, Ryan’s Surprise and VG—all of which remain open along strike and at depth. The campaign will also target new gold and critical mineral discoveries across the company’s broader portfolio of prospective properties.
Supported by strategic partners, including Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, the program builds on encouraging results from the 2025 exploration season, which extended the high-grade core at the Golden Saddle deposit and intersected new gold mineralization through initial step-down drilling at the Arc deposit. Company officials believe the expanded drilling effort has the potential to significantly advance multiple projects simultaneously and deliver meaningful resource growth throughout the field season.
White Gold also announced key milestones toward the proposed spin-out of W2 Critical Minerals Corp., with a shareholder record date of June 29 and a special meeting scheduled for August 11. If approved, the spin-out will transfer six critical mineral properties prospective for copper, molybdenum, tungsten, antimony, zinc and bismuth into the new company. White Gold shareholders would receive one W2 share for every five White Gold shares held, while White Gold retains a 19.9 per cent ownership interest. The company also expects to advance a maiden Preliminary Economic Assessment later this year, positioning 2026 as a potentially transformational year.
