(November 26, 2025 – Yellowknife, NT.) The focus of the pan-territorial Invest North of 60 initiative is to increase global and national awareness of new and existing investment opportunities in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut. Invest North of 60 is dedicated to informing and encouraging global and national mine investment leaders to actively consider the North’s 3.9 million square kilometers of under-explored land; equaling approximately 37% of Canada’s total landmass.
Committed to enriching northern communities, and encourage equitable and respectful relationships with Indigenous governments, the Invest North of 60 team will gather at the Resourcing Tomorrow Mining Conference in London, England, December 2-4, 2025, with over 1,000 other mining professionals. The conference is one of the most recognized gatherings where mining professionals discuss and secure the metals and minerals that power our global future.
In support of the Invest North of 60 initiative and the Tłı̨chǫ communities, Grand Chief Jackson Lafferty will arrive pre-conference on December 1, to participate in a global government roundtable discussion at the London Stock Exchange. Throughout the week, Grand Chief Lafferty will further participate in investor meetings, talks, and related networking receptions.
Grand Chief Lafferty has been a long-time and resolute advocate for the training and employment of Tłı̨chǫ people and has noted publicly that the Tłı̨chǫ communities have a mine ready workforce, ready and able to enhance new and expanded northern mining opportunities.
Throughout and following the Resourcing Tomorrow Mining Conference, the Invest North of 60 team will provide targeted mining investors with information spotlighting Territorial mines currently in operation, and those shortlisted for new investment and development.
